Sam`s in New York City

Absolutely delicious. There may be a 20 people line at Sam's cart and one or two people at the cart beside which also sells Falafels. It's incredibly delicious and you should get an extra to go ;D

These guys have the best Falafel allover new york city.... Actually they have he best Falafel allover the World. I am Middle Eastern and i haven't tasted Falafel as delicious as the ones they are doing... Great job Sam's Falafel keep it up.

This place has delicious fresh homemade falafel. They are fast and cheap for this expensive locale. I always get their falafel sandwich and it is loaded with falafel, roast eggplant, delicious hummus and salad. Very satisfying lunch for under $10.

I'm from Egypt and this place is as good as it gets in terms of falafel. It's so authentic and delicious and the price is amazing. You get a heap amount of food for $7 or an amazing sandwich for five dollars. You can't beat that

First time, have a falafel sandwich from this cart. The falafel are freshly/swiftly balled up and fried. Crisp, hot, and good. I have walked past many times but I have been discouraged by the line, I hate waiting on line for food. The line moved quickly, though. The falafel sandwich was good and I got everything I wanted in it. Many falafel stuffed way down in the bottom of the sandwich, so don't get discouraged if you only see 2 on the top. You have to eat this sandwich with a fork, it is so much food packed into a pita if you try to go for a big monster bite the ingredients may end up on your clothes or floor.

Best falafel in the city, hands down! Always good quality ingredients, made with love. When the coronavirus first hit New York and my org started working from home, I was saddest to lose my weekly ritual of visiting Sam and his wonderful employees for my $5 falafel pita lunch. These guys truly know what they're doing. There's a line for a reason y'all - and it's worth the wait.

Best falafels ever. If you're in downtown NY, you MUST try! The only thing missing is rice or a good, freshly baked pita. These guys serve ready to eat pita that definitely doesn't go well with the falafels.

Top flight food cart that does one thing - falafel - and does it very well. Fresh, flavorful, crisp falafel made expertly minutes before being added to a pita or platter. $5 for the former and $6 for the latter is eminently reasonable. This cart is well worth an extra walk from points throughout the financial district. Pass on the many mediocre alternatives on your way. You won’t be disappointed.

The falafel platter is the best value around.

I've tried 10+ different falafel restaurant and carts around the city, by a long shot, this is the best. The turnover that they have keeps the falafels fresh, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I love that they're more liberal with tahini than huumus, I love that there's eggplant as option, and I love their whole vibe! Pro tip: if you want a snack, it's $1 for 4 falafels with tahini on.

We had a platter for $7 and a $5 sandwich. Drinks are $1 each. Everything is inclusive of tax! No faffing around! The food was absolutely delicious and can be eaten without appetite. If you are not hungry go for the sandwich as the platter is served very generously.A few minutes after we got our food, the queue was big! The staff is very helpful and patient with newbies. Definitely recommend it!

Starts with one liner "awesome and freshness"Really awesome, everything on the platter is completely fresh. The falafel are so fresh along with the salads and the fresh hummus makes it an excellent platter. They add pickle and some sort of leafy rice(rice inside spinach leaf i guess) which makes richer. Try the platter and sandwich.

This is, without a doubt, the best falafel in all of New York City. Everything about their sandwich and platter is just perfection. And the price is unbeatable. Plus, the guys are some of the friendliest you’ll find—you could not be supporting better people. Make sure to ask for some pita chips with your order. They hand-make them at their cart and they might be the best pita chips I’ve ever had. Seriously, eat here. You won’t regret it.

This is the best HOMEMADE Egyptian food in the area!! I also love that they are family owned and so so friendly! Best take out food too! So convienent and casual- this place is now my go to when I can’t cook! I highly highly recommend you all try it- every single dish is absolutely delicious!!!
